WYSO Open House

On Sunday, June 24, public radio station WYSO held an Open House at their new studios at 150 E. South College Street. It was an afternoon of family fun with food, live music, and tours of the new offices and studios. I took a picture of these young ladies as they waited in line at the face-painting booth. The new move includes updated audio equipment, a new broadcast tower and increase in signal strength to 50,000 watts.

On Friday, June 29, NPR Special Correspondent Susan Stamberg will speak at the Dayton Art Institute's NCR Renaissance Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Her talk is titled: "How Art Will Save the World (and Whatever Else Occurs to Her)". Tickets are $50 and still available.
