La Pampa Party Saturday, Oct. 20

La Pampa’s planning another party! Come out to Peifer Orchards (68 North half mile from downtown Yellow Springs) on Saturday, October 20 from 5-7pm. Bring your own drinks. We’ll be grilling traditional, Argentine style: a whole pig roast (“lechon al asador”), local whole chicken, and a vegetarian paella -- a traditional Spanish rice dish. Adults – $12, Kids – free! RSVP and bring your friends!

La Pampa is named for the region where Mariano Rios, the business’ owner and cook, was born and raised in Argentina. Mariano’s father worked herding sheep and cattle, and later as a professional butcher for many years.  Mariano learned the art of the “asado” and “parrilla” fom his father, who to this day, grills the best whole cuts in town.
