Claire was born October 20, 2011 and was diagnosed the following day with Biliary Atresia.  Claire is in need of a life-saving liver transplant. With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure.  The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses.  In Enon, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local baby, Claire Kaufman.

Claire is the daughter of Leah Moliengo and Kevin Kaufman.  Born on October 20, 2011, Claire was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia.  The doctors at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, have recommended a life-saving liver transplant.  An estimated $50,000 is being raised by volunteers.

All proceeds benefit COTA in honor of Claire to assist with transplant related expenses.  Visit Claires Web page at  www.COTAforClaireK.com
