Save the date for OB&E

Hailing from Yellow Springs, Ohio Brass & Electric is an 11-piece horn band covering a wide variety of artists, songs, and genres. With members ranging from talented and classically-trained musicians to, well, a drummer, OB&E is on a mission to add horn-band joy to southwestern Ohio.

The band's official debut will be Friday, October 12 - venue TBA. Find out more at

We're starting with the rich history of Funk in the Dayton area, which combines naturally with The Funk Brothers who powered Motown, then we're adding genre-crossing songs we love to create a mix of tunes that are catchy, danceable, and/or put a smile on your face!

Made up of former members of Red Idle and The UnderCovered with horns from the Yellow Springs Community Band, Ohio Brass & Electric are building a repertoire from the horn band hits of the 70's and 80's along with fun and funky music from every decade.
