Tie-dyed socks raise funds for Haiti
A Yellow Springs Fundraiser for Haiti, sponsored by the youth at First Presbyterian Church, took place Saturday, February 6, noon-2 p.m. at the church's Westminster Hall. Participants brought socks to tie-dye and sell, with proceeds to benefit Hands Together Orphanage and Midwives for Haiti. The finished socks will be available for a suggested donation of $5 at First Presbyterian Church, United Methodist Church, Winter Farmers Market (Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon in the Methodist Church basement), Curves, and Brother Bear's Cafe. For more information, call the church at 767-7751.
