Monday Morning Artists is a group that meets the first Monday of each month at the First Presbyterian Church in Yellow Springs. They are the featured artist this month at the Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery. Five creative arts one-hour workshops will be offered by the MMAs at the YSAC Gallery each Saturday through July 14.
This week, enjoy two beginner workshops back-to-back on Saturday, June 30.
Ann Gayek - Nature Drawing (1-2 pm)
Learn to draw leaves and flowers in a loose and expressive manner. No drawing experience necessary. Bring your pencils, colored pencils and paper or sketchbook. Some materials will be available. The cost is $10 per person, limited to 6 people. Call Ann Gayek @ 767-1584 to register!
Yuki Hall – Watercolor Greeting Cards (2-3 pm)
Learn the quick and creative way to make greeting cards with watercolor. No previous experience with watercolors is required. All materials will be provided. Each person will go home with at least 3 original watercolor greeting cards. Limited to 6 people. The cost is $10.00 per person. – Call Yuki Hall @ 426-7229 to sign up!
